OVERVIEW: 

We are searching for a Marketing Manager, Social Media Strategy – B2B  for a leading, global firm.  Our client has one of the strongest Marketing Departments Technology-side we’ve worked with in a while.  The tenure for this Team is fantastic.  We are searching for an innovative Marketing Manager, Social Media Strategy – B2B  who truly understands how to create positive Buyer Journeys through developing multi-channel marketing communications programs.  Someone comfortable writing promotional copies and developing the program journey, buyers journey, and/or campaign journey. This person needs to feel comfortable adding value to marketing programs in the B2B space that will truly add value. 

DAY-TO-DAYS:

The Marketing Manager, Social Media Strategy will collaborate across functional groups within marketing to integrate social media into customer touch points with a clear and defined purpose. They need to be experienced in managing social media channels and have applied social media to the campaigns

The Marketing Manager, Social Media Strategy will manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Blogs and other relevant channels. They will uncover, refine and iterate on key customer insights that drive engagement, contribution and participation, driving key initiatives to leverage across the business. This position will work in partnership with other marketing leaders to develop and execute social media programs as part of larger integrated marketing strategies and initiatives. The Manager will carry daily listening and engaging within the social web, leveraging and responding as appropriate, including creating a reporting and escalation path.

The Manager will write, publish and track social media posts and use thoughtful analytic approaches to build solid test plans and use data to make decisions about the impact of various social media tactics. The Manager will stay current on current social media tools and identify and interpret social media trends to continue to deliver on revenue, budget and customer engagement commitments. They will track industry trends, events, product releases and competitive activity. The Manager will provide monthly reports on social media contribution and quarterly reports on optimization initiatives.

ABOUT YOU:

5-8 years in B2B marketing, PR or within a publishing role including experience exclusively managing social media channels
Proven experience and passion to facilitate social media programs that drive business results
Knowledge of social media technologies, platforms, listening programs and tracking/analytics
Excellent communications and presentation skills
Excellent writing skills
Strong analytical and problem solving mindset
Demonstrated experience coordinating across functional teams
Experience managing projects from conception through to execution and measurement
Self-motivation to excel within an environment of change and rapid growth
Bachelor’s degree a minimum requirement
