Our client is seeking a dynamic, data-driven Vice President of Digital 

Marketing to lead all digital marketing initiatives across the organization.

Reporting directly to the President and collaborating closely with the Private Equity

firm, the successful candidate will drive the development and execution of digital

strategies aimed at increasing profitability. As a highly successful $25 million firm,

our client is dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences for

both new and repeat clients across several segments.

  • Build market awareness strategies for the company and drive demand to the

company’s consultative sales funnel.

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration by actively engaging with various

departments to ensure alignment and cohesiveness in achieving marketing


  • Develop a new company website that is SEO optimized.
  • Develop and execute digital strategies for continued customer engagement and

conversion to purchase.

  • Optimize conversion points both online and offline, oversee website development

as a customer touchpoint tool, and the modernization of CRM platforms.

  • Develop, execute and optimize the performance of digital campaigns, outside

agencies, along with the ability to directly measure and manage customer

success-driven sales development reports.

  • Create campaigns then optimize performance of digital marketing efforts with a

strong focus on test and learn methodologies.

  • Manage and lead the customer service and inbound sales team

(currently 4 direct reports) to optimize customer experience

and convert prospects to sales.

  • Launch optimized online ads and manage budgets to increase sales and brand


  • Coordinate creation of digital content for lead generation across various


  • Identify trends and optimize spend and digital performance direction based on


  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership for adoption.
  • Manage the company’s paid media presence and develop their content

marketing strategy.

  • Plan and execute experiments and conversion tests.
  • Limited trade show staffing and management.

About You:

  • Strong comfort working as an independent marketing lead and having the digital

marketing expertise to bring campaigns to life.


  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts, testing, and best


  • Proven revenue growth experience developing B2B eCommerce, paid media,

Google AdWords, Bing, email campaigns, SMS, and SEO/SEM campaigns.

  • Expert experience with web strategy setting, content management systems, and

CRM platform selection and execution.

  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools and platforms.
  • Perfect knowledge of web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Bing, and


  • Experience with marketplace strategies and listings.
  • Skills and experience in creative content writing and visual communication


  • Excellent analytical, project management, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability manage from the ground up while also being strategic in a small business


  • Experience in government contract sales (25% of the business today) a plus, but

not required.

  • BS/BA in marketing or relevant field; additional qualifications B2B web strategy

setting, segmentation marketing & enterprise targeting


This position will be located on-site in Athens, TN (45-minutes from both Knoxville, TN and

Chattanooga, TN). Experienced digital marketing leaders local to Athens, TN,

Chattanooga, TN and Knoxville, TN are strongly encouraged to apply.
