VP of Marketing, eCommerce $180k-$220k ideally $200k
Our client, a healthcare manufacturer, is looking for a VP of Marketing eCommerce to join their team full time. The VP of Marketing will manage a staff of 15+, overseeing the website (Shopify), PIM (Salsify), DAM (Acquia DAM), inbound/outbound marketing strategy, lead generation, marketing automation, market research, video and image content production, product merchandising, pricing and branding.
Having overall responsibility for the strategic and tactical execution of all aspects of marketing and our new eCommerce initiative, the VP of Marketing, eCommerce will ensure that our brand message is articulated clearly and work closely with our Sales Team to enhance our sales through a combination of outbound and inbound marketing while building a content engine.
This opportunity would require you to be hybrid onsite at their office in greater Boston.
Qualifications * B.A. or B.S. degree in Marketing, Communications, Branding, Business, PR or similar relevant field (Master’s degree preferred)
* 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of success
* 5+ years building & managing a Marketing and eCommerce team
* Demonstrable experience tracking, analyzing, and measuring marketing program performance and its impact within a complex business model, driving experiments and adapting strategies
* Hands-on experience managing eCommerce platforms like Shopify and BigCommerce
* Own digital shelf content strategy and support data needs
* In depth knowledge of market research
* Outstanding communication and presentation skills, including senior leadership and board presentations * Demonstrable P&L experience
* Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience helpful
* Healthcare/Medical Device experience a strong plus Responsibilities
* Serve as the leader of the Marketing team and a steward of the company’s brand
* Lead the eCommerce strategy for all products brought to market
* Develop and execute growth marketing strategy and plans, including paid media, SEO, SEM, and email marketing
* Cultivate an inbound marketing engine, establishing thought leadership in the space
* Develop KPIs to measure campaign success and use this data to drive continuous improvement
* Provide feedback on all marketing activities on dashboards that measure and track the effectiveness of all digital marketing activities, to be shared with company Leadership team
* Manage marketing budget and expenditures
* Partner with Customer Service and Supply Chain teams to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience
* Partner with Sales on customer specific eCommerce support needs
* Direct and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports
* Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counter-strategies
