Job Description:

As the , Vice President, Marketing – (DCT, Digital, Multi-site, national retail) reporting directly to the founders, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the marketing strategy for our dynamic and fast-growing company. This is a hands-on, visionary position that requires a proven track record in omni-channel marketing, mobile contact strategy, loyalty and retention marketing, and successful management of external marketing agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Omni-Channel Marketing Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive omni-channel marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives.
    • Drive seamless customer experiences across various channels, ensuring brand consistency and engagement.
  2. Mobile Contact Strategy:
    • Lead the development and implementation of effective mobile contact strategies to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously optimize mobile marketing efforts.
  3. Loyalty and Retention Marketing:
    • Design and implement strategies to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute targeted campaigns aimed at customer retention and lifetime value maximization.
  4. Agency Optimization:
    • Manage and optimize relationships with external marketing agencies to ensure alignment with business objectives and performance expectations.
    • Oversee agency partnerships to drive innovation and efficiency in marketing initiatives.
  5. Customer Experience (CX) Excellence:
    • Champion a customer-centric approach throughout the organization, focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
    • Analyze customer feedback and data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance overall CX.
  6. Visionary Leadership:
    • Bring a forward-thinking and visionary approach to marketing initiatives, anticipating market trends and proactively identifying opportunities for growth.
    • Collaborate with the founders to align marketing strategies with overall business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced B2C environment.
  • Demonstrated success in omni-channel marketing, mobile contact strategy, and loyalty/retention marketing.
  • Track record of effectively managing external marketing agencies and optimizing their performance.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to turn insights into actionable marketing plans.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant marketing experience.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Westport, CT.
