Our client is a  dynamic and rapidly growing direct-to-consumer home improvements firm based in Northern Philadelphia, with a proven track record of success in the industry. Their mission is to provide high-quality products and exceptional customer service to homeowners seeking to enhance their living spaces. With an annual revenue in excess of $40 million, they are positioned for continued expansion and increased market ownership. The client has both a solid digital footprint along with traditional brick and mortar stores nationally. 

Day-to-Days: 

As the Vice President of eCommerce, you will be a key leader in driving our Clients online sales strategy, DTC research and revenue generation efforts. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will collaborate closely with the VP of Marketing to align e-channel promotions and eCommerce optimization across multiple, highly targeted sites. Your primary focus will be on leveraging the Shopify platform to its fullest potential, ensuring seamless customer experiences and maximizing revenue opportunities via product representation and promotional test & learn marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the VP of Marketing to develop and bring to life e-channel promotional campaigns, eCommerce site optimization strategies.
  • Develop and execute revenue generation eCommerce initiatives, leveraging the Shopify platform to drive sales and enhance customer experiences along with developing CTV (customer lifetime value).
  • Lead a team of 2-3 direct reports within Customer Services and Success, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • This position will select, manage and optimize outside Web Development resources. 
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration by actively engaging with various departments to ensure alignment and cohesiveness in achieving eCommerce goals.
  • Stay ahead and well prepared with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance our clients eCommerce capabilities.
  • Implement data digital performance driven decision-making processes to optimize online sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Direct-to-Consumer eCommerce, with a proven track record of increased revenue generation.
  • Expertise in the Shopify platform and associated tools, with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute eCommerce strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing a team and driving results while actually doing the work and being driven by ideation on how to creatively improve campaigns. 
  • Ideation-driven mindset, with a passion for innovation and finding new ways to enhance the customer experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Location: 

This is an on-site position based in Northern Philadelphia. Candidates must be able to work in this location.
