Vice President, Automotive eCommerce and Performance Marketing 

About Us: We are a dynamic and innovative after-market auto parts manufacturer based on the West Coast, specializing in delivering high-quality products to enhance vehicle performance. As a $40 million firm backed by Private Equity, we are poised for significant growth and are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Vice President of Automotive eCommerce and Performance Marketing.

Responsibilities:

As the Vice President of Automotive eCommerce and Performance Marketing, you will be responsible for leading a team of six direct reports across key functional areas including Brand, Merchandising, Customer Success, and Marketplace Channels. Working closely with the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing marketing growth strategies for our organization.

HYBRID DETAILS:

Location: Southern California (initially 4 days per week in-office, transitioning to 5 days per month)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: Direct and mentor a team of high-performing individuals in the areas of brand management, merchandising, customer success, and marketplace channels.
  2. Collaborative Strategy Development: Work closely with the CEO and other cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  3. Digital Marketing Expertise: Leverage your 10+ years of experience in both B2B and DTC automotive digital marketing to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  4. Hybrid Work Model Implementation: Manage the transition of the team from a 4-day in-office workweek to 5 days per month, ensuring a smooth onboarding process and maintaining a collaborative and productive work environment.
  5. SKU Revenue Channel Growth: Utilize your expertise to develop and implement strategies for the growth of large SKU revenue channels, optimizing product positioning and market presence.
  6. Private Equity Experience: Utilize your experience in working within high-growth, Private Equity-backed firms, specifically within the automotive space.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in both B2B and DTC automotive digital marketing.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth in large SKU channels.
  • Hands-on experience with eCommerce platforms and performance marketing.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience working in high-growth, Private Equity-backed firms within the automotive industry.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
