Who We Are Looking For
You will partner with various stakeholders in setting the activation strategy associated with our clients media products and technology offerings to pitch and win opportunities. The role requires collaborating closely with the leaders of our respective agency businesses, along with the sales teams to provide content and serve as advisors for top clients and opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished leader and a skilled cross-functional collaborator, with experience in digital and/or data-oriented technology services. The role requires the ability to rapidly synthesize complex information and drive strategic alignment across multiple stakeholder groups. You will be expected to be an analytical, business-minded self-starter who is capable of setting strategic priorities but who also excels at executing tactically.
What You’ll Do
Activation Strategic Consulting
- Lead the go-to-market strategy (targeting, channel mix, marketing ecosystem design, performance measurement) for our clients and partner agencies.
- Partner closely with Data Strategy Leads to deliver story around AI driven data activation based on our identity solution to solve client needs
- Innovate with Product Strategy on how to upgrade or improve products based on user feedback and innovation potential
- Focus on building a thread from Identity Solution output through the rest of WPP/Choreograph/GroupM media products via activation, analytics and optimization.
- Create a playbook to inform “What happens after you Build an ID Graph?” Define how leveraging the identity solution alters how teams think about strategy across programmatic platforms (DSP, SSP), impacts what we can do with measurement & attribution, etc.
- Lead a broad range of data strategy engagements.
- Engage with high-profile customers and connect their strategic business goals to Choreograph’s product suite.
- Formulate Solutions to clients’ marketing challenges and produce related project briefs.
- Work with Analytics team to analyze brand performance and recommend optimization strategies.
- Steward client interest in the areas of tracking and delivering measurable results and analytics, market knowledge, and audience insights.
- Stay well versed of new technologies and trends in order to apply strategically to client’s business as well as proactively construct business building ideas
Collaboration & Cross Functional Partnership
- Build relationships with Data Strategy leads from across WPP (at varying OpCos) and CMOs to increase understanding of product solutions & application.
- Manage, develop and engage a team of Activation specialists (VP, Platform Strategy; VP, Media Activation; and VP, Addressable Content.)
- Support the pre-sales and post-sales customer journey and develop trusted advisor relationships with customers and partners.
- Participate in new business pitches.
What You’ll Need
- 10+ years of experience in ad tech/mar tech, ideally in a creative, digital or media agency or consultancy.
- Strong domain knowledge of leading data and technology tools within the adtech/martech space.
- Strong understanding of how to use customer and digital data to develop insights and inform strategy.
- Strategic, smart, results driven and evidence-driven innovative thinker.
- Proven ability to effectively work as a business-oriented consultant with all levels of and organization—from C-level to individual contributors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated ability to create and deliver professional presentations and customer deliverables requiring little review/input from others.
