Overview:

The Marketing Director is responsible for maintaining the brand voices for all brands across all touch points.  Our client is a small team, and the Marketing Director role is a “hands-on” as well as managerial role.

Day-to-Day’s:

  • Collaborate with the CMO to identify opportunities to enhance the brands, extend target audience reach, and amplify campaigns.
  • Attract and drive consumer and business Leads to drive conversion funnel results.
  • Lead the development of marketing plans for the brands, working closely with agency partners and business owners.
  • Manage all content creation, SEO optimization, and editorial/visual updates across websites; provide direction and oversee agency partners and marketing team execution.
  • Oversee all social media efforts across brands to ensure content is on brand and engaging; includes brainstorming strategy, reviewing content calendars, providing new concept ideas, and approving posts.
  • Maintain blog calendars for brands, partnering with SEO agency on blog topics and keywords, providing guidance to freelance writers, reviewing all blog post content and communicating new blogs to social team for promotion.
  • Support Public Relations efforts to get media coverage for brands in appropriate industry, trade, business and consumer publications.
  • Working with Travel & Events Manager, register & secure exhibit space, design presence, secure speaking engagements, handle travel arrangements, and develop collateral for all industry events; collaborate to identify and develop partnerships that bolster industry and brand presence.
  • Develop webinar content series, secure speakers (internally and externally), drive digital media for sign-ups, and host the webinars.
  • Oversee production of all marketing materials, communicating with teams for content and distributing final collateral.
  • Partner with Sr. Digital Marketing Manager and Senior Director of CX and Product Management to ensure seamless integration of website, application forms, backend CRM, and paid media tracking (UTMs/ pixels).
  • Conduct regular meetings with internal teams and third-party vendors to review workload, resolve challenges, brainstorm solutions, and ensure teams have proper resources.
  • Manage internal marketing team consisting of Sr. Designer/Developer, Social Media Managers, and Travel & Events Manager.
  • Manager external agencies to ensure on-time delivery of work, adherence to scopes of work and attainment of goals.

About you and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising or communications, with 10-12 years of experience
  • Strong content marketing and SEO background
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, marketing automation, content management systems (experience with Wix a plus)
  • Excellent writing skills and editing skills
  • Experience working across multiple brands with varied voices and target audiences
  • Knowledge of the fertility industry a plus
