Role Overview

The Director of Sales will drive growth across all three divisions, focusing on pipeline generation and deal conversion in the mid-market and enterprise CGT space. Reporting directly into leadership, this person will be responsible for shaping and executing a sales-led GTM strategy that fuels revenue growth while freeing up leadership to focus on product development and delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Growth: Generate new opportunities with pharmaceutical, OEM, and academic customers in the life sciences and CGT markets.

  • Revenue Leadership: Own and exceed sales targets by closing mid-market and enterprise-level deals.

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Lead, coach, and optimize a sales-led motion driven by outbound outreach and targeted inbound marketing.

  • Funnel Management: Analyze pipeline data, identify bottlenecks, and drive improvements across top, middle, and bottom of funnel.

  • Market Expansion: Expand footprint across antibody-based research, diagnostics, and therapeutic segments.

  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure sales execution aligns with corporate strategy and customer needs.


Qualifications & Competencies

  • Life Sciences Experience: Proven track record of selling into pharma, biotech, diagnostics, or academia.

  • Antibody Expertise: Familiarity with antibody products, phage display technology, or diagnostic reagents strongly preferred.

  • Sales Leadership: 7+ years in sales with success in mid-market and enterprise ACV deals.

  • Data-Driven Mindset: Expert in GTM data, metrics, and pipeline optimization.

  • Hands-On Leadership: Grit and detail orientation – comfortable rolling up sleeves, digging into spreadsheets, and driving execution.

  • Coaching Skills: Ability to mentor and lead a small, focused sales team while also carrying an individual quota.
