The role:
We’re looking for a superstar Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Director to join our team. This role will own the web site experience from all angles – managing day to day site operations, launching new products on the site, merchandising, testing and learning to improve the site experience and grow the business.
This role will report to CEO.
Responsibilities:
Own all aspects of the web site experience, partnering internally and externally to continually improve the site performance and execution
Drive optimization of website experience and conversion funnel, secure and oversee external development resources as needed
Oversee Digital channels and allocates budget focusing on ROI (ASP Is low)
Have a vision for merchandising products on the site to optimize sales
Partner closely with the Operations team, warehouse and customer care to make sure orders and customer interactions are flowing smoothly
Work with the Marketing team to ensure the site brings the brand to life
Oversee paid digital and new customer acquisition strategy and execution
Partner closely with retention consultant to ensure seamless brand and customer experience when consumers funnel to the site
Provide weekly snapshots and deeper dives quarterly/ad hoc on DTC channel performance
Consistently explore new opportunities for fresh innovation and testing via emerging tech, new vendors, platforms
Requirements:
5-7+ years of experience in Ecommerce marketing
Strong project management skills
Analytical and excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Has a vision for and can create limited content and copy is a plus
Passion for our product, mission and our core consumer.
Extremely organized, dependable and self-motivated
Experience with ESPs (esp Klaviyo) preferred
Bachelor’s degree
