As we continue to grow, we are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as the Director of Lifecycle Marketing.  Develop the CRM strategy.  Working closely with eCommerce to drive increases in subscriptions. 

Role Overview: The Director of Lifecycle Marketing will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our subscription-based marketing initiatives. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategies across all touchpoints of the customer lifecycle to enhance customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value (LTV). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis, segmentation, and subscription-based marketing within the consumer, direct-to-consumer (DTC), health, and beauty industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies to drive customer engagement, retention, and LTV.
  2. Utilize data-driven insights to segment customers effectively and tailor marketing initiatives to specific customer segments.
  3. Lead the development of automated, personalized customer journeys across various channels, including email, SMS, push notifications, and more.
  4. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and analytics teams to optimize customer experiences and drive business growth.
  5. Continuously monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of lifecycle marketing initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in lifecycle marketing, subscription-based models, and the health and beauty industries to inform strategic decision-making.
  7. Act as a subject matter expert on lifecycle marketing, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of X years of experience in lifecycle marketing, with a focus on subscription-based models.
  • Solid understanding of data analytics, segmentation, and customer journey mapping.
  • Proven track record of driving results through lifecycle marketing initiatives, with a strong emphasis on customer retention and LTV optimization.
  • Experience working within the consumer, DTC, health, and beauty industries is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.

Location and Compensation: This is an individual contributor role based in Manhattan, NY, with a hybrid work setup. The successful candidate will be expected to spend two days per week in the office. We offer a competitive base salary of $150,000, along with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth and development within the organization.
