We are seeking s a dynamic, data driven, and creative Digital Marketing Director to develop, lead and execute all eCommerce driven marketing efforts across the organization.

This is a 20 person, $50M in revenue, highly profitable manufacturing firm with global clients and a larger investment from Private Equity.

The Digital Marketing Director will oversee and optimize digital eCommerce and online marketing efforts. They will report to the President/CEO and work for a market disruptor and digital technology leader in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute digital strategies for customer engagement and convert to purchase
  • Launch optimized online ads and manage budgets to increase sales and brand awareness
  • Experience managing and optimizing performance of outside agencies along with the ability to manage & mentor reports
  • Coordinate creation of digital content for lead generation across various channels
  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts (test and learn leads the efforts here) and optimize customer experience
  • Identify trends and optimize spend and digital performance direction based on insights
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership for adoption
  • Optimize conversion points and oversee website, ecommerce, and CRM updates
  • Manage company’s paid media presence and content marketing strategy
  • Plan and execute experiments and conversion tests
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize user experience and design landing pages
  • Prepare and distribute newsletters and promotional emails through various channels

About you:

  • Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Director working for a high growth organization
  • Excellent understanding of eCommerce driven digital marketing concepts, testing and best practices
  • Proven revenue growth experience developing B2C and B2B eCommerce, paid media, Google AdWords, Bing, email campaigns, SMS, and SEO/SEM campaigns
  • Familiarity with web design, content management systems, and CRMs
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools and platforms
  • Perfect knowledge of web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Bing, and Tableau
  • Skills and experience in creative content writing and visual communication principles
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • BS/BA in marketing or relevant field; additional qualifications in web design or animation are a plus.
