Vice President, Sales Lead – Life Sciences (EST)

Our client, a leading Life Sciences firm, is seeking a proven VP, Sales Lead – Life Sciences to drive pipeline growth, accelerate revenue, and expand market share across its antibody business unit. This executive will be responsible for building and optimizing a sales-led go-to-market motion targeting mid-market and enterprise accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Generation & Revenue Growth: Lead initiatives to generate high-quality opportunities, close new business, and expand wallet share with existing accounts.
  • Sales Leadership: Build, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales team focused on outbound prospecting, consultative selling, and closing higher ACV deals.
  • Sales-Led GTM Strategy: Partner closely with marketing to align outbound sales outreach with targeted inbound campaigns. Develop scalable sales playbooks tailored to Life Sciences segments and customers.
  • Funnel Optimization: Analyze top, middle, and bottom-of-funnel performance. Review GTM data, hypothesize improvements, and implement changes to drive measurable sales impact.
  • Customer Segmentation & Expansion: Leverage a deep understanding of Life Sciences stakeholders—including biotech, pharma, research institutions, and healthcare providers—to drive adoption of antibody solutions.
  • Data-Driven Execution: Utilize CRM, analytics, and sales performance data to connect strategy with downstream execution, ensuring predictable pipeline coverage and revenue achievement.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in Life Sciences.
  • Demonstrated success leading sales-led motions with mid-market and enterprise clients.
  • Proven ability to close higher ACV deals while scaling sales functions.
  • Deep familiarity with Life Sciences segments and buyers, with specific exposure to antibody products and services preferred.
  • Strong expertise in GTM data, funnel management, and translating insights into sales execution.
  • Inspirational leader who can coach teams, align cross-functional stakeholders, and drive consistent growth.
