We seek a data driven Director, Direct to Consumer & Paid Media.

This newly created role will report into the CMO and will be responsible for D2C growth strategy. This role will also oversee an in-house paid media team focused on full funnel media efforts for our brands. This is a rare opportunity for a strong media/growth marketer to expand to a more holistic cross-functional role.

Our Client as raised over $500M in equity and debt to pursue our vision and are backed by industry-leading consumer-focused Private Equity firm.

They are projecting to continue adding brands and products at a rapid pace over the coming years and are looking for high-caliber and well-rounded team members with the capabilities to help us achieve their ambitious vision.

DAY-TO-DAY’s:

  • In this newly created role, you will oversee our direct-to-consumer or e-commerce marketing with full responsibility across acquisition, lifecycle, site optimization and cross-sell
  • You will lead and expand a team of paid media buyers and build out new capabilities for seo, lifecycle marketing and conversion rate optimization
  • You will collaborate with leadership on our marketing and ops organizations to ensure alignment with ongoing priorities
  • You will work closely with marketing analytics to build out appropriate measurement solutions for lifetime value and marketing attribution, and maintain relevant marketing financial models
  • You will partner with creative to help develop high performing assets
  • You will be able to effortlessly switch between tactical and strategic mindsets with an emphasis on utilizing data and technology to improve performance
  • You will develop operational processes, growth test and learn plans and prioritization frameworks to maximize output and business results

ABOUT YOU;

  • 7+ years of experience in D2C marketing with 3+ as a team lead
  • 5+ years of hands-on media buying experience in a performance setting required
  • Strong understanding of full funnel marketing and levers across acquisition, lifecycle, and site optimization
  • Understanding of different attribution methods and LTV models, and hands-on analytics experience. Marketing or acquisition p&l experience a plus.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities and brands
  • Collaborative attitude focused on driving team excellence and servicing internal customers
  • Effective communicator with experience leveraging data to identify themes and build a narrative while securing cross-functional buy-in
  • Conscientious, efficient, and detail-oriented; able to lead and impart best practices for optimizing how things work in data-driven ways
  • Excited to have a leadership role in a rapidly growing startup

Technical expertise:

  • Expert level mastery of AdWords, Facebook Ads and Google Analytics
  • Experience with Shopify or similar platform
  • Experience with BI Tools (Tableau etc) and SQL a plus
