We seek a hands-on Director, Marketing Analytics, Amazon Channel

This highly visible role will report into the CMO and will help build a new function in the marketing team.

Our client has raised over $500M in equity and debt to pursue our vision and are backed by industry-leading consumer-focused Private Equity firm.

They are projecting to continue adding brands and products at a rapid pace over the coming years and are looking for high-caliber and well-rounded team members with the capabilities to help us achieve their ambitious vision.

DAY-TO-DAY’s

  • In this newly created role, you will lead all marketing analytics and forecasting. Over time, you will build out a small team and establish marketing analytics as an internal center of excellence
  • You will spearhead development of methodologies, processes and partnerships to measure and optimize marketing ROI and consumer LTV
  • You will lead and execute data initiatives to understand, measure and optimize our audience and content across multiple channels and business models
  • You will lead advanced attribution modeling and techniques and work closely with marketplace and d2c media buying teams to help optimize our media spend across the portfolio
  • You will be the internal subject matter expert for marketing technology related to analytics and customer insights
  • You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to build and automate demand forecasting models and processes
  • You will be able to effortlessly switch between tactical and strategic mindsets with an emphasis on automating regular reporting and fostering a culture of data driven decision making
  • You will develop operational processes and prioritization frameworks to maximize output and business results

ABOUT YOU:

  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics across D2C and Amazon
  • Experience in media planning and digital marketing a plus
  • Demonstrated experience developing automated reporting and utilizing advanced attribution solutions
  • Strong leadership and project management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities and brands
  • Collaborative attitude focused on driving team excellence and servicing internal customers
  • Effective communicator with experience leveraging data to identify themes and build a narrative while securing cross-functional buy-in
  • Excited to have a leadership role in a rapidly growing company

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

  • Hands on experience with reporting and optimization on Amazon and other marketplaces
  • Hands on experience with various facets of D2C marketing analytics and deep understanding of different attribution techniques
  • Hands on experience with Google Analytics required. Shopify experience a plus
  • Experience with BI Tools (Tableau etc) required
  • Expert proficiency in SQL and Excel. Experience with statistical packages (R, Python etc) a plus
  • Experience working with and managing analytics vendors a plus
