Our client, a portfolio company of a leading Private Equity partner, is on a high-growth track and expanding its sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a proven sports manufacturing firm that delivers superior products and turnkey professional installations to some of the biggest names in athletics.

We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative who will be a critical member of the new business team—driving growth by developing new accounts with Major League teams, colleges, high schools, and little league organizations.

About the Role

This role is perfect for a hands-on, new business hunter who thrives in sports sales and has a proven track record selling high-ticket sports equipment and safety solutions. With average sales between $25,000 and $45,000, this is a career-defining opportunity to leverage your network and passion for sports while helping clients elevate their facilities and programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and win new business with Major League teams, collegiate programs, high schools, and little league organizations.
  • Sell high-quality sports equipment and safety products, including turnkey installation services.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, relationship-building, presentations, negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to athletic directors, coaches, and procurement leaders.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets, directly contributing to the company’s growth strategy.

Requirements

  • Proven success selling sports equipment, safety gear, or high-ticket products into athletic organizations.
  • Established network and past success selling to Major League teams, colleges, high schools, or little league programs.
  • Hunter mentality with expertise in new business development and closing complex deals.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels within sports and recreation organizations.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • A true passion for sports and deep understanding of how and why these products are “must-haves” for athletic organizations.
